PRIZE #8 - CUSTOM PAINTING OF UP TO TWO PETS!

We're thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for a custom-painted portrait of your pets, donated by artist Melissa Nichols. Her paintings are done on Strathmore Oil Pastel paper using high quality oil pastels. The oil pastels are light and UV resistant, however it's recommended that you don't hang the piece in a place where it will receive lots of direct sunlight as it can fade. The piece is set with a matte-setting spray to prevent accidental smearing. The finished piece will be matted to size 8" x 10." In the photos here, the ferret piece is mostly finished except for matting. Melissa blocks the edges of the painting with masking tape so that when the painting is finished and the tape is removed, the edges are perfectly straight. All paintings are Melissa's original artwork. The winner can choose either a custom portrait of up to two (2) small pets (ferrets, cats, rats, hamsters, etc.) or one large pet (dog, horse, etc.). If the winner doesn't want a custom pet portrait, they can email Melissa for an alternate choice. NO portraits of people, please! Your painting will come with instructions for care.
